Helping people discover who they are by growing closer to God and sharing His love with others.
David was born and raised in Cape Coral, FL. He started attending the Vineyard there as a high school student. David served on staff as a youth leader for three years and as the Family Ministry Pastor for seven years at Vineyard Community Church in Cape Coral. Currently David is working for Lee County Parks and Recreation. Contact David.
Sarah is originally from Maryland but grew up primarily in south Florida. She also began attending church as a student. Sarah has overseen various ministries at the Cape Coral Vineyard over the last eight years, where her staff roles ranged from Office Administrator to Executive Pastor. She currently works to support dedicated foster care parents in SWFL. Contact Sarah.
David and Sarah have been married since 2005 and partner together to lead the Gulf Coast Vineyard. Their passion is to see people find hope and purpose in a genuine relationship with Jesus. While serving as pastors, David and Sarah also played an active role in the foster care and adoptive community. As they begin the journey of church planting they do so with their growing family.
The Vineyard Movement is a worldwide network of over 1,500 non-denominational churches committed to seeing each generation reached by the power of the Gospel. With a view to embrace integrity in Christian character along with the activity of the Holy Spirit, each Vineyard church seeks to be an outpost of God’s compassionate love in a broken world.
At the Vineyard we believe that kids matter just as much as adults. There is not a “little God” for our children and a “big God,” for adults. We all can connect with a Big God no matter what age. We want to stir up within every child the wonder of a God— who is big enough to handle everything that comes their way— so that they are transformed by a lasting relationship with Him. For students to discover who they are in light of who God is, and for young adults to passionately pursue God’s purpose for their lives.
We believe that God is a generous Father. He sent His son, Jesus, as a servant to heal the broken and care for the lost. We want to serve and give to the communities of and near Estero in the same manner - through simple acts of service and kindness. For us, it's important to remind everyone (imperfect as we all are) that God loves each of us unconditionally. No gimmicks and no strings attached.
We believe that the Bible is the infallible Word of God, fully inspired, and entirely trustworthy in all matters of faith and practice.
We love and value every person because they were created by God and know that He loves them deeply. The Gulf Coast Vineyard seeks to be a diverse community that trusts in the hope of the cross and forgiveness of sins for all people. We actively work to break down barriers of race, culture, gender, social class and ethnicity.
